The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an international non-profit organization dedicated to promoting responsible forestry. FSC materials are wood byproduct materials that are regenerated into cellulose fiber produced from sustainably-managed plantations (which help maintain biodiversity and the ecosystem). Viscose has a lightness similar to cotton but is instead characterized by its silky and soft texture.
